December 21st, the Winter Solstice is the longest night of the year as darkness surrounds us. Despite the joy and expectation of the season, we know that some struggle to see hope and light in the midst of pain, grief, anger, isolation and fesr.  As a result, churches around the world have adopted the practice of having a "Blue Christmas" or a "Longest Night" service during the Advent season.

The Reformed Churches in the Upper Perkiomen Valley will offer a Longest Night service on Saturday, December 21 at 6:30 PM to hold space for all those difficult emothions in the presence of the One who offers healing, hope and new life.

Light refreshments and fellowship will be offered after worship.

Come as you are - lift to God all that weighs heavy- and know that each day beyond the longest nig, the light grows.
