Faith in Action
How do we at Saint Johns put our faith into action?
There are many ways we serve, from local community outreach to disaster relief efforts.
The Heavenly Helpers is a group of volunteers from St. John’s, other local churches, friends and neighbors. The Heavenly Helpers have been dedicated to disaster relief since 2006.
We are strong supporters of The Open Link, the multi-service agency offering services to help those in need in the Upper Perkiomen Valley. (Note that in July 2013, the Upper Perkiomen Senior Center was linked with The Open Line to create "The Open Link".)
We actively participate in "WELCA", an association of women providing outreach activities.
Other organizations supported include Adopt a Family. The proceeds from the recent Valley Arts "Evening of Christmas Music" in 2012 were donated to Adopt a Family, which provides gifts for needy families during the holiday season.
